br>GLC2OH Career Studies
This course teaches students how to actively develop and achieve personal goals for future learning, work and community involvement. Students will assess their current level of emotional literacy, areas of interest, skill set and unique characteristics while investigating current economic and workplace trends, work opportunities and effective ways to search for work. The course explores post-secondary learning and career options prepares students for managing work and life transitions, learning as a life-long prospect and helps students focus on refining their goals through the development of an education and career plan. MET Prerequisite: None.
