German

The German Language Program introduces students to the basic structures of the German language so that students will be able to speak, read, and write with adequate facility. German culture and history are an integral part of this program.

LWGBD1 German Academic Level 2

This course provides students with the language learning experiences that will enable them to communicate in German. Students will continue to develop and apply their speaking skills in a variety of contexts, and will participate in activities that will improve their reading comprehension and writing skills. They will also continue to explore aspects of the culture of countries where German is spoken by taking part in community-sponsored events and activities involving both print and technological resources. Although students will continue to expand their vocabulary and repertoire of language structures the language they will use at this level will still be simple.

LWGCU1 German Level 3 (University Preparation)

This course offers students opportunities to further develop their knowledge of the German language and to enhance their communication skills.
